Mathematical Modelling

The mathematical model is known as the brain of a simulation system and allows for the appropriate motions of the ship model in 6 degrees of freedom (6DOF).

ON-DEMAND SHIP MODELS

Ship models

  • Yachts and ferries
  • Tankers
  • Dry cargo ships
  • Offshore vessels and floating constructions (including AHSVs, MODUs)
  • Tugboats
  • Vessel installed with wind wings
  • Firefighting tugs
  • Naval ships
  • Inland vessels
  • Fishing vessels
  • Fixed or floating objects
  • Buoys and floating lights

HYDRODYNAMIC/HYDROSTATIC, AERODYNAMIC, TRADITIONAL & NON-TRADITIONAL PROPULSION SYSTEMS

Propulsion systems

  • Conventional rudders or advanced rudders
  • Conventional propellers with or without nozzles
  • Azimuth thrusters
  • Voith Schneider propellers (VSPs)
  • Waterjets

In addition, power systems, ballast water management and mechanical systems are also modelled and integrated into the full mission bridge (FMB) system.
