Happy Holidays!
Christmas Letter of the CEO
As everyone is getting ready for Christmas, I would like to thank all our Clients, Suppliers, Staff & Stakeholders for 2021. We all worked as one to provide training and further improve competencies despite all the setbacks the world experienced.
2021 was the year we all received our vaccinations and ‘boosters’ were made available. In November I was able to visit Miami, Florida again and today I am writing this newsletter form Curacao with several cruise ships in port today. And off course we still are dealing with the pandemic and new variants of the COVID virus, however we all start to realize we need to deal with it in a smart way.
At Simwave we had great traction this year. We further expanded our activities with new trainings, new markets, and further investments in our core business – competency management. As a CEO and major shareholder, I am proud to see that we have been able to further invest in our online and international presence.
Also, in 2022 we will double the investments in our Learning Management System & Competency Management System. We were able to create a great team of industry experts, content developers and didactical experts. Every week we deliver a new training, and we are extremely proud that partners choose Simwave as their educational partner.
In 2022 we will continue our journey. We booked more orders than ever and will further strengthen our team and presence. We are open and deliver training every week, from LNG tankers to Superyachts to Inland Vessels, Pipe Lay Vessels and Cruise Ships. For every segment a different simulator and different team with specialist who all learn from each other. The cross-segment learning is priceless and is the reason we facilitate training.
Enjoy the holiday season and we hope to welcome you soon again in 2022!
Many thanks and stay safe!
Marcel Kind
