Rotterdam 20 September 2018 – Last week Simwave and Atlantico Sul Consultoria signed a partnership agreement to connect with clients in the Brazilian and South American markets.
Atlantico Sul, situated in Brazil, already offers services in specialized studies, assessments, modelling, inspection and more, divided into the two areas of engineering and environment. The company is formed by professionals with a vast experience in engineering projects and environmental studies for the port, maritime, waterway, nautical and coastal sectors.
With this partnership, Atlantico Sul will be able to offer complete port studies to their clients. At the moment Atlantico Sul is able to offer the engineering part of a project. With Simwave they can offer the engineering and the simulated applied research. Studies can be tested on Simwave’s state of the art technology and followed up with simulation training.
Simwave offers applied research possibilities on differently connected simulators with the possibility to carry out extensive port studies, risk assessments, and incident investigations. The applied research team of Simwave consists of mathematical modellers, visual database developers, master mariners, and eight researchers. After a research project, the available information can be used for extensive training programs like advanced ship handling, bridge resource management (BRM), resilience training, etc.
